Kids up the street

Everyone at college waits for the weekend to come...or at least everyone I know (including myself) does. My weekends are most usually a really good time but unproductive, unless I have a ton of work to do which I usually dont, but this weekend I didn't have as much fun as usual because of the kids up the street. As I was sitting with a few of my roommates friday night watching the game we both hear a smash on our porch. We run outside to see what happened and notice a smashed coffee cup on the stairs to our porch, and the kids up the street running into their house. This was unacceptable to me and my roommates so we all decided to go over to their house and have a talk with them. After our talk with them they said the same excuse they always say when they act like clowns which is "Sorry dude, our friends just drunk." This time was different because they were told to come clean the steps off, which they did while saying they were sorry the whole time. Later that night while sitting on the porch watching people stumble from the bar back to their house, the kids up the street caused another scene and the police were at their house. I really have no problem with the cops being there all the time but I feel as if it looks bad on me when I'm sitting outside close by hanginig out.Anyways..it really never stops with these people...I was just wondering if anyone else has idiot neighbors?

Your complaints are valid. Most of my neighbors have been good ones.

I had a difficult neighbor in the past. The man complained about everything my husband and I did.

He complained because he thought that we didn't mow our lawn often enough - like once a week isn't often enough. When spring came and I let my chickens out into a fenced area, he'd complain about the smell. The chickens had been there for two months and he didn't smell them until he actually saw them. We lived in the country, what did he expect?
